MN Green Path qualified homes are independently verified to meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. According to the Environmental Protection Agency MN Green Path New Homes save money on utility bills, provide more comfortable living environment with better indoor air quality, and help the environment.

McDonald Construction is a member of the Twin Cities Builders Association and is currently ranked in 2010 as the 12th largest builder in the Twin City Metropolitan Area by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. The Twin Cities Builders Association is the founder of one of the largest Parade of Homes Shows in the country. McDonald Construction has participated in the Parade of Homes Spring Preview and the Fall Parade of Homes showcase for more than 33 years. Our 2008 Fall Parade of Homes Model home in Woodland Preserve won the Prestigious Trillium Award for Best Interior Design and layout for homes over $600,000. In addition McDonald Construction participated in the first MN Green Path New home Pilot Program. This home was the first certified MN Green Path home in the city of Woodbury. McDonald Construction was awarded the Environmental Excellence Award from the city of Woodbury for building this magnificent cottage inspired home in the community of Dancing Waters. We are also committed to building 100% of our new homes under the MN Green Path New home Program.
